Tanzania lacks an organization capable of identifying and protecting the ways in which indigenous communities can strengthen and preserve the national heritage
The Tanzania Heritage Foundation (THF) works with all willing parties to build a better future for indigenous communities and share Tanzania’s unique treasures with the outside world

What We Do?
Fostering and promoting indigenous – such as Maasai – values amongst the communities and with the outside world
Provide indigenous communities with safe, reliable and sustainable water infrastructures
Promote land management practices amongst indigenous communities to sustain the pastoralist livelihood and balance the land uses
Provide indigenous communities children with adequate environment, infrastructure and material to ensure a quality education
Provide women with tools and knowledge to strengthen financial independency, autonomy and education
